GUEST
:
Canadian & world beach volleyball champion, Jody Holden.
Jody attributes much of his beach success to a successful
indoor career - 2-time All-Canadian at Dalhousie University,
4-time Atlantic Conference All-Star and MVP. Jody
was also a 2-time member of Canada's national volleyball
squad and competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics in
Sydney, Australia, challenging the world's best 2-man
beach volleyball teams.
FISHING:
Fishing
the golf course ponds for largemouth bass using plastic
worms. It is October and the ponds are cold, so a
slow approach - fishing plastic worms on the bottom
- will be necessary.
GOLF
COURSE :
Redtail Golf Course
Chris Goodwin and John Drake, Redtail GC owners and
enthusiastic golfers, decided to build a golf course
for themselves - a unique hideaway surrounded by active
farms with tall silos. The rolling terrain at Redtail
GC features deep ravines, tree-lined fairways, 400
acres of forested land and six ponds, all of which
hold largemouth bass.
COMPETITION
:
Henry
and Jody compete at two sports - fishing and golf
- with handicap strokes being awarded to the most
successful angler and least capable golfer. For bass,
each pound equates to one stroke; Jody gets a few
extra casts at each pond. Henry gives Jody 2 strokes
- front & back - to equate golf handicaps.
